The Lichen Saree is a celebration of harmony—where different elements come together to create something greater. Crafted from muslin silk and adorned with patchwork embroidery made from upcycled fabrics, each detail reflects a quiet balance, much like the natural world it draws from. Inspired by the textures found in nature, the interplay of fabrics and threads mimics the way organisms coexist and thrive together. Its flowing drape and rich depth make it a perfect choice for moments that call for both elegance and movement.

Product Care

We use breathable, natural fabrics. Proper care will help preserve the fabric and colour over time.

COTTONS

Wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent. For best longevity and to protect the texture and colour, we recommend dry cleaning.
For textured or embroidered pieces, iron inside out or place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric.

SILKS

Dry clean only.
Steam gently to remove creases. If ironing is necessary, use low heat, iron inside out, and place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the colour.

Each article at ILK is thoughtfully crafted hence orders typically require 4–5 weeks for completion.
